We're B-Corp Certified
A Milestone Moment
We are proud to announce that we are now a Certified B Corporation®. We join a global network of over 3,000 brilliant businesses with a unified mission to use business as a force for good; for people and the planet. Achieving the certification was a huge milestone for us and a confirmation of all the hard work we have been putting in to be a better business. As part of the process, we have renewed our commitments within the areas of ethical practices, sustainability and people and community.
Better livelihoods are only possible when farmers have reliable and profitable businesses. So we pay more per kilo on long term fixed price buying contracts to farms who invest in the future success of their communities.
We’ve always made business decisions with the environment in mind and know that every decision, big and small, has a cost and potential benefit. See the actions we’ve taken to reduce our impact on the environment.
People & Community
People are at the heart of what we do. From our farmers at origin to our suppliers and to our team at the roastery; we believe in fairness and striving for better for people across every touch point of our business.
What This Means To Us
B-corp is a certification we really believe in; it measures triple bottom line, which is something we’ve always done but it’s great to have an independent tell you you’re doing it well.Emma Loisel - CEO
With people, ethics and sustainability at the core of our business, becoming B-Corp Certified was a really proud achievement for us. The work doesn’t stop at our certification though; as we are now part of this global community, we will continue to be transparent, make improvements to all aspects of our business and take full accountability.Tom Delaney - Managing Director
We certified as a B-corp both as a statement of our commitments to social and environmental values but also as a way to legitimise those commitments. More than anything, we will benefit from the framework that B-Corp provides as a means to effectively measure these performance indicators and improve them over time.Nick Mabey - Head Of Product
