Your chance to experience coffee at its origin
Join Volcano Coffee Works on an educational trip to Brazil and visit the Sombra agroforestry project at Mió.
Through a farm tour and coffee tasting, you’ll meet our farming partners and discover how coffee is grown alongside trees and other crops.
The prize is one place on the trip. Subject to final itinerary confirmation, it includes return economy flights from a nominated UK airport, accommodation, transport within the official itinerary, and the meals and activities specified in that itinerary.
Meet Sombra: coffee with a story to explore
Sombra is a Brazilian single-origin coffee connected to the agroforestry project at Mió that Volcano supports.
The project explores how growing coffee alongside trees and other crops can support healthy soil and biodiversity — both important to coffee’s future.
You could taste the coffee where it’s grown, see the project up close and meet the people making it happen.
