Rise Up Blend

Tastes like: Raspberry Candy, Orange Rind, Milk Chocolate

Strength (Roast level - Light to Dark): 5

Process: Natural, Washed

Roast Profile: Dark

Origin: Brazil, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Best if you:

✔ Drink flat whites / espressos

✔ Like rich chocolatey and fruity flavours

Rise Up Blend combines two origins, Brazil and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, resulting in an espresso with muted acidity and delightful tasting notes of milk chocolate, orange rind and raspberry candy.

We source this coffee from a female cooperative, Rebuild Women's Hope, on Idjwi Island in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Founded by Marceline Budza in 2013, this cooperative empowers women by using coffee production as a means of socio-economic development, contributing to education, healthcare and economic growth for 15,056 women.

Want to know more about the cooperative? Check out out blog here.

The blend also features coffee from Fazenda Mio, our Brazilian coffee partner that funds an exciting agroforestry research project.

The intensity of this dark roasted coffee shines through when drunk as an espresso or add milk to really highlight its creamy texture.

We recommend pairing with: Eton mess
