How are E-gift cards delivered?
E-gift cards are issued by email to the purchasers to then forward on to the recipient. The email will contain instructions to redeem them at checkout.
Can I include gift messages in my order?
Yes, tick the ‘add a gift card and message’ button in your cart and fill out your personal message of up to 500 characters.
How do gift subscriptions work?
When you gift a coffee subscription you can select the date the gift will be sent to your recipient via email for them to redeem. Please use the gift recipient’s email as this email will link to their account. The credit you choose will automatically be added to your recipient's account. They can then select their grind size as well as the frequency and date of delivery.
How long does the coffee last?
Typically, the coffee you’ll receive will have been roasted within a week. We recommend the coffee be consumed within 5 weeks (although it can still taste great after this). To keep your coffee from going stale, we recommend grinding your coffee beans fresh with a home grinder.
What grind should I choose?
Typically, fine grind is for espresso machines. For low pressure machines like SMEG, Dualit and smaller Sage machines we recommend medium grind. Brewing equipment like Cafetiere, Moka Pot, Aeropress and V60 are also best with medium grind.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch all orders the next working day, or the same day for DHL orders made before 12pm. Depending on your courier option your coffee will arrive within 2 to 4 working days. You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched. Please get in touch if you are still waiting for your coffee order.
What delivery options do you have?
Orders are sent via Royal Mail with delivery in 2 to 4 working days or DHL with delivery in 2 working days for orders placed before 12pm. You can select your preferred option at checkout. Orders are dispatched the next working day. Subscription orders are sent via Royal Mail with delivery in 2 to 4 working days.
What do I do if I need to change my delivery address?
Contact us at orders@volcanocoffeeworks.com if you need to change your address. Please note that once dispatched, we are no longer able to change the delivery address and you will need to contact the courier directly.
Is my delivery letterbox friendly?
If you only purchase four boxes of pods they will be delivered in letterbox friendly packaging. All other coffee orders are not letterbox friendly, but you will be able to let your courier know a safe place once you receive the tracking details.
