Windrush Triathlon Club Brixton
Windrush Triathlon Club Brixton is a super friendly club based in Brixton, South London. We love the three sports that make up triathlon - swimming, cycling, and running - and organise regular training sessions, social events and rides for members. We are a member-led club for juniors and adults and welcome everyone from beginners to elite athletes. We are also experts in the additional discipline of cake eating and baking, and our socials regularly revolve around where we can find the best coffee after our training sessions.
We take our name from Windrush Square in Brixton and take pride in the history of the local area of South East London where our club first formed. We are actively trying to address the fact that our club membership is not as diverse as it could be, by hoping to provide an introduction to triathlon for people who may otherwise not consider it. As part of this we run TriFit Brixton, which offers a swim and run training programme for local community members, in the lead up to the Windrush Tri Club Aquathlon each year.
