Right in the heart of the busy Battersea area, The Coffee Studio is quickly becoming a local favourite. Opening their second site just a few months ago, following the success of their Greenwich site, The Coffee Studio is the perfect spot for a grab and go coffee. We chatted with the owners to find out more about their new café and why they chose to use Volcano coffee.
Tell us about your business.
The Coffee Studio is an independent speciality coffee space with two locations in Greenwich and Battersea. We’re built around a simple idea: Eat. Drink. Work. Great coffee, friendly service, and a calm, design-led environment where people can meet, study, or get work done. We’re community-minded, we hire locally, and we host small events and collaborations that bring people together.
Why did you choose to work with Volcano?
Quality, ethics, and proximity. Volcano roasts in London, their sourcing is transparent, and the coffees are consistent and easy to dial in across both shops. Their team also supports us with training and seasonal updates, which helps us keep quality high as we grow as well as being super helpful and friendly!
What Volcano coffee do you serve?
We run a Volcano espresso single-origin Brazil as our house as well as our Decaf option, and rotate beans for batch brew and filter.
What is your favourite coffee order to make?
A flat white when the shot is singing, and a clean, cold brew during the morning rush. The flat white shows off the sweetness and texture. Batch allows more people to experience the coffee at its best.
