Our B Corp Report 2025

This year, we’ve been working hard to improve our B Corp score and have levelled it up to 93.1, which places us in the top 30% of B Corps worldwide. Take a look at our 2025 B Corp Report for a breakdown of how we’ve achieved this;

Firstly, why does B Corp matter to us?

The B Corp certification matters because it proves we’re walking the talk. It holds us to high standards that align with what we believe: fairness, honesty, and genuine investment in people and planet. It’s not just a badge but a mechanism which keeps us accountable to doing business in a way that gives everyone a fair shot, supports bold ideas, and builds stronger communities in the long run.

Our 2025 B Corp Performance

B Corp measures our score across 5 key areas;

Environment

What this measures: Environmental stewardship across energy use, emissions, water and waste management, sourcing, and how products or services impact the planet.

Our approach: Managing our environmental impact matters because you rely on the land, water and climate that coffee farmers depend on. B Corp tracks how well we’re reducing waste, cutting emissions, and sourcing responsibly so it's a fantastic tool for measuring our performance. If we say we’re here to redistribute value fairly, we have to protect the systems producers rely on to thrive. It’s about action, not just words, and doing right by the planet and its people.

Our score: 17.7

Workers

What this measures: How a company treats its employees - covering compensation, benefits, training, health and safety, and opportunities for growth and engagement.

Our approach: Supporting workers is about more than good jobs, it’s about fairness, opportunity, and building a team that’s invested for the long run. The B Corp metrics help us track how well we’re doing at that: fair pay, solid benefits, and room to grow. If we want to redistribute value fairly to producers, we’ve got to live that same principle inside our own walls. Everyone gets a fair shot, no shortcuts, no fluff.

Community

What this measures: A company’s impact on the communities it touches, including job creation, local sourcing, diversity, equity, and charitable giving.

Our approach: Community engagement matters because it shows we’re not just in business for ourselves. B Corp looks at how we hire, source, and give back, and for us, that’s key. We believe in fair shots for all, investing in people not transactions, and backing producers and partners who often get overlooked. This metric proves we’re serious about building a more equal system, not just saying we are.

Governance

What this measures: Transparency, ethics, and accountability in decision-making, including how a company’s mission and values are embedded in its operations and leadership.

Our approach: Governance matters because it keeps us honest. For a coffee roastery driven by fairness and transparency, it means building systems that back our values, clear decision-making, mission- led leadership, and accountability to the people we serve, not just profit. It ensures we’re not just talking about redistributing value to producers but we're structurally set up to do it, and held to it. It’s how we stay fair, fearless, and straight up.

Customers

What this measures: Customer wellbeing, including ethical marketing, product or service impact, data privacy, and how customer feedback informs continuous improvement.

Our approach: Customer stewardship matters because it’s how we build trust. B Corp looks at whether we’re honest, transparent, and delivering real value beyond just great coffee. For us, it’s about being straight up with our customers and using that relationship to shift value back to the people who grow what we sell. If we say everyone deserves a fair shot, that has to include the folks on both ends of the cup.

Our score: 2.3

Since we became B Corp certified in 2021, we’re proud of the progress and achievements we’ve made. However, this certification is not a finish line, but a benchmark that challenges us to keep finding new ways to do business better.
