"A good medium roast delivers a comfortably balanced espresso with well pitched acidity and a delightfully silky smoothness. With milk it became even more stunning although one judge preferred it as an espresso. The others thought this was as good as a flat white could ever be, with bags of chocolate, a teasing fruitiness and a long, smooth finish."

"This is a nicely balanced espresso - mellow, smooth and rounded, with some juicy melon and dates. Pleasant finish - very approachable."

"There's a brilliant intensity to this espresso that displays juicy stone fruit flavours. We find the acidity a little high and a sour note comes through. However, with milk this is more subdued, and transforms into a comforting, approachable coffee that has a smooth, rounded finish."
