1. The Promoter   The promoter is Full Steam Espresso Ltd (trading as Volcano Coffee Works and Assembly Coffee), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 244 Ferndale Road, Brixton, London SW9 8FR (“the Promoter”). 

2. The Competition    

2.1 The title of the competition is the Brazil Origin Trip 2026.    

2.2 This competition offers one (1) eligible individual the opportunity to win a place on an educational trip to visit coffee producer partners in Brazil. 

3. Eligibility    

3.1 The competition is only open to Volcano Coffee Works wholesale customers.

3.2 Participants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.    

3.3 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize.

3.4 Participants must be available to travel and be able to gain a valid visa to travel on the specific dates in June 2026 (as notified by the Promoter). No alternative dates will be available.    

3.5 The winner is responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport and any necessary visas (and any other entry requirements) for travel to Brazil on the date of the trip. Any costs associated with obtaining or renewing a passport or securing visas are the responsibility of the winner.    

3.6 The winner must have all vaccinations required to travel to Brazil, and they will be responsible for obtaining these vaccinations at their own cost. 

3.7 The winner must have comprehensive travel insurance for the trip at their own cost.  The travel insurance obtained must meet the minimum travel insurance requirements of the Promoter. 

4. How to Enter    

4.1 To enter, participants must order a bag of Sombra coffee. For existing customers, order Sombra through our ordering portal. For new customers, fill out our wholesale form, requesting a Sombra sample bag of coffee and enter to win by adding ‘MIO TRIP’ into your order form message.  One order of Sombra coffee (of any quantity) is equal to one entry.

4.2 Only one entry per person is permitted. 

5. The Prize    

5.1 The prize consists of one (1) seat on a trip to Brazil to visit a coffee farm (the “Trip”) in June 2026.    

5.2 The prize includes: 

• Return economy class flights from the UK to Brazil.   
• Transportation within Brazil as required by the trip itinerary.   
• Accommodation for the duration of the 4-day trip.   
• All transport, accommodation and food included as part of the group itinerary.   

5.3 The winner will be accompanied by a designated member of the Full Steam Espresso Ltd team.    

5.4 The prize does not include:   

• Personal expenses, souvenirs, or additional food/drink outside of the group itinerary.   
• Transportation to and from the UK departure airport.   
• Cost of passports or visas.   
• Any required vaccinations or medical costs. 

6. Winner Selection and Notification    

6.1 The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received.    

6.2 The winner will be notified via the email address or phone number provided at the time of entry.    

6.3 If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within five (5) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner. 

7. Liability and Waiver    

7.1 The nature of the trip involves visiting working agricultural environments and international travel.    

7.2 Waiver Requirement: As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to travel, releasing Full Steam Espresso Ltd from all liability, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.    

7.3 Failure to sign the waiver within the timeframe requested by the Promoter will result in forfeiture of the prize.    

7.4 If the winner misses their flight (including any connecting flight), they forfeit the Trip and Full Steam Espresso Ltd will not be responsible for providing a replacement flight or any compensation.    

7.5 If the winner misses their return flight due to their own actions or omissions, Full Steam Espresso Ltd is not responsible for providing or paying for any alternative travel arrangements.    

7.6 The winner must always behave professionally and respectfully during the Trip, as they are representing the Promoter and its brand Volcano Coffee Works or Assembly Coffee. If, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, the winner’s behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or brings (or is likely to bring) the Promoter or its brands into disrepute, the Promoter may terminate the winner’s participation in the Trip with immediate effect. In such circumstances, any additional costs incurred (including alternative travel, accommodation, or other expenses) will be the winner’s responsibility and will not be reimbursed by Full Steam Espresso Ltd.    

7.7 The Promoter is not responsible for any flight delays, cancellations, or changes to the itinerary caused by third-party providers or force majeure events. 

7.8 Third-Party Providers: The Promoter acts solely as organiser of the prize and shall not be responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers including airlines, accommodation providers, transport providers, guides, or farm hosts. All such services remain subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant third-party provider. 

7.9 Assumption of Risk: The winner acknowledges that participation in the Trip includes travel to rural environments and working agricultural settings where conditions may differ significantly from urban environments. The winner understands and accepts the inherent risks associated with such activities including uneven terrain, agricultural machinery, vehicles, animals, weather conditions and physical exertion. 

7.10 Compliance With Safety Instructions: The winner agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the Promoter, farm hosts, guides and transport providers throughout the Trip. Failure to comply with such instructions may result in removal from certain activities or termination of participation in the Trip. 

7.11 Travel Insurance: Suitable travel insurance is required to participate in the trip. The Promoter shall not be responsible for losses or claims not covered by the relevant insurance policy. 

7.12 Liability Limitation: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter’s total liability in connection with the competition or the prize shall not exceed the total value of the prize. 

8. Data Protection    

8.1 By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used by the Promoter to administer the competition and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. 

9. Imagery and Marketing    

9.1 As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must grant Full Steam Espresso Ltd the perpetual, irrevocable right to use any still and moving imagery (photography and video) of them taken during the Trip for any marketing and promotional purposes. 

10. General    

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.    

10.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered.  

10.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
