This month’s coffee comes from El Corazón in Chirinos, northern Peru. It’s produced by third-generation coffee farmer Fidel Huancas on his farm, La Esperanza, meaning “Hope” in Spanish - a name that reflects his ambition to become one of the region’s best producers.

This lot is a careful fusion of Yellow Caturra and Pache varieties, selected by Fidel for how well they thrive in the region’s high altitudes and warm climate, producing high quality coffees with bright acidity and a full body.

Both sweet and fruit-forward, the cup is packed with flavour. Enjoy notes of tangy raspberry paired with maple syrup sweetness and a gentle pecan nuttiness. Best enjoyed as a filter coffee to fully highlight its fruity complexity.
