At Volcano, we're pretty obsessed with all of our coffees but we all have our own personal preferences. We spoke to everyone in the roastery to find out what their very favourite Volcano coffee is. Let's see what they had to say;

What’s your usual coffee order?
Double shot Piccolo followed rapidly by a second backed up with random filter and more than likely another filter.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
It's a tie… with The Mount Blend possibly coming in as my "Go To" with milk followed closely by Fullsteam for my espresso/ black preference. Mount definitely encapsulates for me true definition of everything I love about coffee.. great balance and plenty of flavour, whereas Full Steam is an exceptional single origin espresso, complex, loads of dried stone fruit character… perfect!

Flat white, one first thing and another after lunch.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Mount, mount, mount! My all-time favourite coffee! Its chocolatey and consistently delicious every time.

Oat flatty at the crack of dawn, swiftly followed by 1-3 cups of filter
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Mount Blend for everything espresso-based & Bensa for batch! The Mount Blend is like mums cooking, always consistent, always tasty, always indulgent, always yum (i said always too many times) and Bensa is just tasty - sweet, bright and easy to get the best out!

What’s your usual coffee order?
Flat white in the morning, batch throughout the day.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
I love the chocolatey flavours of Sombra first thing in the morning, it pairs really nicely with milk. In the afternoon, I favour something more funky - like our single origin Colombian, Fullsteam.

What’s your usual coffee order?
For the sake of getting caffeine into me as quickly as humanly possible, a batch to start the day followed by an oat flat white as a chaser.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Mount has been my go-to since day one as an old reliable with milk but I love Fullsteam as both an espresso or filter offer. Two of our core coffees that have been in the range for ages, they hit the nail on the head to deliver a perfect and consistent coffee every time.

I try and squeeze in two flat whites and one batch a day.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Mount is a classic coffee that gives such a nice balanced flat white. Bensa is great for a PM batch - a cup with subtle floral notes that I can drink buckets of.

What’s your usual coffee order?
I love starting the morning with a filter coffee, and halfway through the morning, an oat flat white hits the spot.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Bensa for filter and Mount blend for the flatty! Bensa is simply delicious, and The Mount Blend feels like a warm hug in a cup.

What’s your usual coffee order?
Oat flat white made with Mount. I like the combination of a nutty strong coffee and the nutty smooth alt milk.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Mount for a flat white. The Colombian Pink Bourbon for a black filter - it's sparkling clean, floral and fruity. Pink Bourbon - flavour-wise - it's the pinnacle really of refined and exotic coffee quality. Total opposite of the traditional flavour notes you typically associate with coffee.

Start the day with a flattie then onto batch.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Sombra is my go to, but love switching up to try our flavour-focused limited editions. I love the slightly darker roast of Sombra with rich flavour notes. The impact story is a big driver for me too.

Cappuccino with chocolate flakes in the morning then a flat white after lunch.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
The Mount Blend for an everyday & loving Hot Cross Coffee as an indulgent treat. I just love the chocolate notes! So smooth and Scrummy!

What’s your usual coffee order?
Long black first thing, followed by 2 decaf long blacks. Every day, without fail!
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Sombra as it’s a dark roast and tastes great!

At work- an oat flat white, at home / out and about- batch
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Rise Up Blend - I love the dark roast, with its rich chocolatey notes and hint of sweetness from the raspberry candy. I always make sure to grab 1 or 2 whilst I'm at a WeWork.

What’s your usual coffee order?
I drink a couple of filter coffees in the morning. In the office we have a different batch every day, so I get to switch it up a lot.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Up until a couple of months ago I would’ve said Sombra but my new favourite is Pink Bourbon. Sombra is everything you want from a good espresso, super bold and chocolatey. Pink Bourbon is quite different from the rest of our range; super fruity and complex so it’s delicious drunk as a filter. Could sip on it all day long.

What’s your usual coffee order?
Espresso, then espresso, then another espresso, then a filter, then another espresso
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Fullsteam - one of the best espressos around, not just in the Volcano range. It's bold, it's fruity, it's intense, everything I want from an espresso.
Max - Technical
What’s your usual coffee order?
I will usually always go for filter/batch, and if I'm in a rush, double espresso or long black.
What is your favourite Volcano coffee and why?
Usually anything Ethiopian like Bensa. I love the intense flavours you normally get from these kinds of coffees, and the zing you get on your gums as you sip them!
