Having celebrated 10 years of dough, it’s fair to say that Crosstown has become London’s favourite doughnut shop. Serving their famous sourdough doughnuts made fresh every day alongside freshly roasted Volcano coffee, Crosstown is the perfect place for your morning cup or afternoon pick-me-up. We caught up with Crosstown’s marketing director, Keiran, to find out more about their shops and why they chose to use Volcano coffee.
Tell us about your business.
At Crosstown, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional, handcrafted doughnuts made with the finest ingredients. Every doughnut is made fresh each morning by our team of expert bakers at our Battersea bakery, where we roll the dough by hand and prepare all of our jams, compotes, fillings, glazes, and toppings in-house. While it’s a lot of extra work, we believe the results speak for themselves. Our doughnuts are perfect with a cup of speciality coffee, and we love serving them together whenever possible.
We are constantly innovating, bringing out limited-edition, seasonal flavours that you won’t find anywhere else. Since launching our signature sourdough doughnuts in 2014, we’ve been on a journey of continuous learning and refinement. With every batch, we strive to elevate every aspect of our doughnut-making process, creating something truly special each time. At Crosstown, quality is never an afterthought—it’s at the heart of everything we do.

Which Volcano coffee do you serve, and why?
We serve our very own Crosstown Blend, which we’ve worked with Volcano to create. This Brazilian coffee has notes of milk chocolate, caramel and hazelnut, designed to perfectly complement our doughnut selection. Truly delicious!

About 15,000 (and even more doughnuts!)
What’s your favourite doughnut to pair with your coffee?
Personally, I love dunking my doughnuts in my coffee and our Vanilla Bean Glaze Doughnut works particularly well for this (especially with a latte).
