Coffee is hugely important to many countries’ economies around the world. At Volcano, we know that we could buy coffees on the openly traded market, from unknown farms, based purely on the cheapest price for the quality and flavour we require. But we don’t.
We decide who we purchase coffee from based on three main principles: Social Progress, Environmental Good and Sustainable Livelihoods. When we work with farmers who believe in the same principles we do, you can be sure that the coffee you drink is making a positive impact in each of these areas.
