Claire Wallace is a multi-talented coffee expert - a skilled barista, champion brewer, coffee trainer and roaster who joined our team in 2018.
Claire's the girl to go to for cafe recommendations, whether in her home towns of Glasgow and Edinburgh, or London.
Here are five of Claire's faves:
Rosslyn, City of London
Rosslyn has been picking up praise as one of the best cafes in the world since it opened its doors by Mansion House tube station in early 2018.
'In London, one of the best places to go is Rosslyn. I think everyone says that. Even my mum loves it.
The coffee is delicious and the service is excellent - hey chat to you while they take your order, give you water why you wait, and know you by name by the time they give you your coffee.'

7oz Coffee, Clapham
The friendliest couple in coffee, Ozzie and Basak have been serving perfectly brewed coffee by Clapham North tube station since 2016.
'I probably drink coffee here most. Their coffee is so great, I'd say the best in South London.'
Visit: 7 Bedford Rd, Larkhall, London, SW4 7SH
Fortitude, Edinburgh
Fortitude have been serving coffee and food in Edinburgh since 2014. Now they roast their own coffee too and opened a second site in 2019.
'Fortitude is my favourite cafe in Edinburgh, and there's two of them now!'

Kaf, Glasgow
Kaf opened in the West End of Glasgow three years ago, serving their own fresh baked goods and a rotating offering of coffees from roasters around the country.
'Kaf is owned by my friend Leo who I used to work with at Brew Lab in Edinburgh. You'll have to queue to get in, but the coffee's really good, the food is amazing - the brownies!!'
Visit: Kaf, 5 Hyndland St, Partick, Glasgow G11 5QE
Friedhats, Amsterdam
Friedhats is a micro roastery and cafe in Amsterdam from Lex Wenneker, the second place holder in the 2018 World Barista Championship.
'Friedhats is a really nice cafe no where near the centre of Amsterdam, I had to walk an hour to get there. It's essentially a neighbourhood coffee where you can get mad, really weird coffee for not very much.'
