This month’s Roaster’s Choice coffee is here to sweeten up your festive season.
Produced by Kuri Mountain Coffee, based in the Guji region of south central Ethiopia, the area’s high altitude, lush hillside forests and native trees provide ideal growing conditions for high-quality coffees.

Kuri Mountain traces its roots back to 1945, when the coffee farm was first established by Aaga Dinsa. Two generations later, his family continues to build upon that legacy, producing exceptional coffees on their state-of-the-art processing plant.

The cherries are naturally processed on the farm, dried on raised beds for up to 14 days. This method enhances the coffee’s intense fruitiness and signature sweetness.

In the cup, you’ll taste a smooth, milk chocolate body blended with notes of sweet cherry and candied lemon and rounded out by a delicate black tea aroma, for a truly rich coffee.

How long does the coffee last?

Typically, the coffee you’ll receive will have been roasted within 10 days. We recommend the coffee be consumed within 5 weeks (although it can still taste great after this).
What grind should I choose?

Typically, fine grind is for espresso machines however, for low pressure machines like SMEG, Dualit and the smaller Sage machines we recommend medium grind. All other brewing equipment like Cafetiere, Moka Pot, Aeropress, V60 are best with medium grind. Please get in touch if you are having issues with the grind.
What if I am not happy?

We always love to hear from you and consider feedback a gift whether it's good or bad. If you are missing an item or have received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us immediately by emailing our team at orders@volcanocoffeeworks.com.As coffee is a perishable product, we're unable to take any returns once dispatched. However, we recommend trying a 200g bag on your first order and if you don't like it, you can return it via our can Taste Guarantee policy. We aim to respond to all emails within 24hr Mon-Fri. When will I get my order?

Our orders are sent via Royal Mail 48hrs or DHL. You have an option to select this at the checkout. Orders are despatched the next working day (or the same day with DHL Tracked orders placed before 12pm). Any subscription order is dispatched by Royal Mail 48hr.
